DM Feedback from Acorn TV

I was curious to know if Acorn TV had experienced an increase in subscriptions as a result of its exclusive coverage of “Doc Martin,” Series 6, and what type of feedback the company had received about the show.  I received the following response to my query from Acorn TV:


“We’re extremely excited to offer the exclusive premiere to North American fans of the series, and subscriptions are on the rise, but it’s difficult to pinpoint how many are from ‘Doc Martin.’ As for feedback, our weekly promo spots for the new episodes remain one of our most popular postings for ‘likes/comments’ on the Acorn Facebook page.”

If you go onto the Acorn Facebook and “like it,” you will be able to see the promos each week. As an alternative, you can view the information on Acorn TV’s YouTube page.

  1. I am SO glad you got in touch with Acorn. I too have signed up and was wondering if they had seen a huge increase. I’m not exactly sure how many people know about it though. I learned from a guy who does fanfiction. I hope they do well because I am enjoying the other shows also and would love to see them be able to add more.
