With news of a planned American version of “Doc Martin,” people have been curious about locally made versions in other countries. I understand seven or eight countries produce their own “Doc Martin.” I’ve rounded up three clips:
SPAIN – “Doctor Mateo”: My daughter-in-law, from Spain, says people there find the show quite funny. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SThOEguqnRw
.

.
FRANCE – “Doc Martin”: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UdCPyNge9QY

.
GERMANY: “Doktor Martin”
I really rather not see an American Doc Martin. It would get messed up with glamour and beauty and lose it authenticity.
Thanks for this…I can’t imagine anyone but Martin Clunes…he is so amazing…always happy to hear from you…Pat
I love the Doc Martin version in Spain.
I do not speak Spanish fluently enough to follow the nuances of the programme.
Is there a Web site that I can visit that has English sub titles
