“Doc Martin” also generally is aired on PBS, I don’t know the timing. In the past, it was shown at the end of the year or in January or February.
Karen, Thank you for the ratings. How do they compare to previous ratings for other seasons? At any rate, that is a lot of viewers. The title of last episode gives me hope that a family trip is in order. Apparently they have all been shown in the UK.
If you broadcast this program in the U.S., DON’T change the format for U.S. audiences ! And leave it on PBS only.
To do either of the above will guarantee eventual failure.
I think you must be referring to the news that Marta Kaufmann has arranged to produce a U.S. version of “Doc Martin.” I know nothing about her plans or the channel that show will be aired on. I don’t believe it is in production at this time.
They are lower than previous seasons, but still very high for ITV.
