According to the Daily EchoMartin Clunes, a patron of Julia’s House, a children’s hospice charity,  will be a guest caroler at a Christmas spectacular in aid of the organization.

“’Christmas is a really busy time for families. Imagine how much harder it is to find the time to do your shopping, wrap presents or decorate the tree when you are providing round-the-clock care for a really poorly child,'” said organizer Jacui Greenhaf.

The Dorset event will take place at Wimborne Minster, a pilgrimage center built around 700 AD, on Wednesday, December 9. Tickets are £15 each; children under 12 are free. To purchase tickets, visit https://juliashouse.org/carols/

  1. What a sweet, sweet, picture of pure love and affection. I love Martin and so looking forward to new season of Doc Martin here in the US when it finally airs. Not fair we have to wait soooooo long. A beloved fan in Virginia.

  2. One of my favorite Christmas carols is “O Come Little Children”

Christmas is and has always been for the child within us all. This loving photo recalls to me a photograph of Maria Montessori. She sat with a child on a park bench admiring a small seashell.

This is the true meaning of Christmas: to give to one less fortunate than oneself. Thank you Maria and thank you Martin.

P.S. Sorry for the www address but I am not a proficient of technology.

The merriest of Christmas to you.
