According to “Pirate FM News,” casting has started in Cornwall for Series 8 of “Doc Martin.” The article actually says “the last ever series,” but Martin Clunes previously reported that there will be two more series.
Open auditions for extras–babies, children and families–will be this week-end at Port Isaac Village Hall:
Saturday, March 11, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Sunday, March 12, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

If I lived there I would be first in line for casting. I went twice from Canada to Port Isaac at great expense to watch the filming for 2 weeks in April in each. Big fan.
You must be as big a fan as i am! I plan to visit Port Isaac to watch filming in May. Do you think they will still be filming? I do hope so.
Hi Patricia, yes, filming is planned from the end of March until the end of July. Have a great trip. I went for S7, and it was great fun. Martin is very gracious to the fans.

I just had a casting Idea, I would love to pass it on,
