Martin Clunes’ Buckham Fair Set for August 20, 2017

In its ninth year, the popular Buckham Fair “dog & pony show,” set in Martin Clunes’ backyard in Beaminster, England, will be held Sunday, August 20. This year, funds raised will benefit the Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance Services. Martin and his wife, Philippa Braithwaite, have raised hundreds of thousands of pounds on behalf of local charities.

Having attended a few years ago, I can attest that the old-fashioned country fair is a hoot. Martin walks about the crowd shaking hands and smiling for photographs. Yummy food, carnival rides, local souvenirs–and our favorite “Doc.” Who could ask for more?
