“Doc’Martin’s” Louisa (Carolyn Catz) was caught sporting a hefty beard for an outdoor scene in Port Isaac.
The Cornwall Live article contains loads of photos and repeats this remark by Martin Clunes about the show’s future: “Never say never. I’ve been saying that’s the last since about the fourth series and now I don’t want it to ever stop; I don’t know, we’ll see.”

When will be on Netflix or other outlets in the USA?
Series 8 will be shown on Acorn TV streaming video probably in the fall. All of “Doc Martin” series are available on Acorn now. I don’t know when the new shows will appear on Netflix.
